In moms earlier years she worked at the Co-op Creamy for years then as her children were older she worked as a waitress at the El Rancho. The family moved to Kelowna BC in 1973, with exception of her eldest daughter who was married. She really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, camping with friends and meeting new people on these camping trips. Mom and dad loved to dance, there again met a lot of people who would soon become another set of best friends.
She had a passion for playing cards, mostly crib, bridge and whist and continued playing up until about 4 years ago. She also loved doing many types of crafts, as dad bought her a kiln to make ceramics in which all of her children and friends have acquired some of these pieces of her work. She had a very special talent for making flower bouquets, wreaths, corsages etc. which she also loved giving as gifts. She made her granddaughter Lisa's wedding flowers along with many other occasions for groups and people. She also had a real knack for making and decorating wedding cakes. Mom cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. Our family plan to get together this summer for a graveside memorial to celebrate her life.
'To our mom, to our grandma, we will love you and miss you forever '.
