

MIGHT, Fredrick Paul son of the late R. Max and Charlotte Might (nee Lawson) of Windsor, ON. It is with great sadness beyond description we announce the passing of Paul on August 28, 2023 at the age of 84 after a long and courageous battle with cancer: Husband, father, stepfather, uncle, University graduate, athlete in baseball, hockey and football, hockey and softball coach, umpire, financial portfolio manager, president of local baseball association, TNG member, Sleeping Children Around the World (SCAW) financial advisor, SCAW overseas volunteer to Colombia, India, and so much more. Central Okanogan United Church outreach volunteer/food cupboard coordinator/organizer/friendly face greeter and men’s group member.
This kind, compassionate and witty man is survived by his wife Daphne, his son Brad (Jen) of Round Rock, TX, daughter Andrea (Dale) of Brantford, ON, his stepsons Peter of Lake Louise, BC and Andrew (Sarah, Averie) of Kelowna, BC. Family mourners include his brother in law Michael Macdonald of Windsor, ON (Ruth, Tanya (Len, Jordyn, Abbey of Victoria, BC), Tara (Jeff, Jessica, Steven of Amherstburg, ON)), nephew Dr David Gitlitz (Teri, Aiden, Caleb) of Pikesville, MD, Niece Karin (Howie, Tyler, Riley) of Roslyn, NY, Sister in Law Shiela Evans of London. ON, Melissa (Matthew, Brody, Greyson, Nolan) of Watson Lake, YT, Jenna (Henrik Paul, Max, Mila) of Düsseldorf, Germany and Brett (Lexie, Jude) of Golden. BC.
Predeceased by his wife Katherine Mary Macdonald, sister Muriel Spence of Windsor, ON, sister in law & brother in law Margaret & Mel Gitlitz of Berwyn, PA and brother in law James C. Macdonald of Guelph, ON.
A cremation has taken place and a celebration of life was held at his place of worship Central Okanagan United Church on September 1 in Kelowna, BC.
