George William McArthur

Bill McArthur was born June 15, 1928 and passed away peacefully at Brookhaven Home on September 1, 2022, aged 94 years. Bill leaves behind to mourn, his wife Eileen. They would have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on September 9, 2022. Bill is survived by his sister Mary (Paul) Burrell and his sister-in-law Ann McArthur. He also leaves behind his sons Rick (Diane) and Kevin (Denny); grandchildren Emily (Glen) Ryan, Jessica (Collin) Ludwar, KD (Ian) McArthur, Lindsey Cote; and great-grandchildren Oliver, Charles, Guin, Wyatt and Xzavier. Bill will be missed by many other relatives & friends as well.

Born in Toronto, Bill lived in Toronto, Winnipeg, North Vancouver, and Calgary before settling in Westbank BC. He worked for most of his life as an insurance underwriter.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Howard & Edna McArthur; his sisters Evelyn & Jean and his brother Jack.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday September 17 2022 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church West Kelowna, BC. This will be followed by a reception in the church hall.
