He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; children, daughter-in-law Sharon (Les d.), Kelvin (Marjorie), Brian (Loretta), Karen, Lana, step-son Ted (Joyce) Wiensz and family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Franz J and Katherina Sawatzky, six brothers and two sisters, his first wife Elizabeth, an infant son, eldest son Les, and great-grandson Carter Harrison.
Funeral arrangements are being conducted by First Memorial Funeral Services, Kelowna, BC. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 13, at 11:00 a.m. at 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC, with interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Live Streaming of the service will be available at the following link:
