A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Jane was the proud mother of three children and the heart of her close-knit family. Her warm and welcoming home in Kelowna became a destination for loved ones near and far. Close and extended family frequently gathered there to spend joy-filled weekends with Jane, creating memories filled with laughter, connection, and love.
Jane’s lifelong love of horses brought her endless joy. She found peace and happiness simply being at the barn, brushing the horses, giving them treats, and soaking in their calming presence. In her final years, Jane shared this passion with her granddaughter, Ivy, creating cherished moments together that will be treasured forever.
Jane also found beauty in crafting and painting, adorning the rooms of her home with her artwork. Her humor and warmth were a cornerstone for her family, who stayed close to her throughout her life. Her enduring love and playful spirit—marked by ongoing family jokes and reasons to giggle even in difficult times—were a testament to the strong bond she nurtured.
Jane was the beloved daughter of Albert and Lois and is survived by her father, Albert. She is also survived by her loving husband, Tom; her two sons, Adam (Tabatha) and Avery (Carly); her daughter, Amy (Dave); her grandsons, Maddox, Kaylif, Quinton, and Hayden; and her granddaughter, Ivy.
Jane’s presence will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, laughter, and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family will be honoring Jane’s memory with a small private gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kelowna Hospice in her name are greatly appreciated, allowing her legacy of care and love to continue.
