Janet May Davies

On Thursday November 17th 2022, Janet May Davies, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed peacefully at the age of 62. Janet leaves behind her children Lauren and Ryan, grandchildren Skylar and Wyatt, brothers Gerald and Michael and many other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Barbara and brothers Robert and Dale.

Janet is remembered for her generous hospitality, contagious laughter and big heart. She was a care aide for 17 years and had a way of making everyone she met laugh and feel comforted. Her biggest pride and joy in her life was her family and friends. She spent countless hours in the kitchen cooking and baking and can be fondly remembered as “cooking enough to feed an army” in case her kids brought friends home after school. She was a friend to all and is missed dearly by those who knew her.

At this time, her family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the staff at Mountainview’s complex care unit. Although her stay there was short, the care she received was exemplary and we are forever grateful. After a long battle with chronic illness, she is at peace.
