He met the love of his life 45 years ago and together they raised their family in the sunny Okanagan.
A wonderful, hardworking man, who devoted his life to giving his girls the best possible life he could. He did not want us to “want for anything”. He taught us to be independent women with the knowledge to get manly jobs done by ourselves. We are grateful for everything he taught us.
Jay greeted everyone with a heartfelt smile and would try to help family, friends and co-workers in thoughtful ways. He could be the life of the party and made everyone laugh but he also struggled with the ups and downs of life.
We will cherish the wonderful moments we shared forever. We love you so much, we will miss you dearly every day, you can rest now.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to Foundry or the Canadian Mental Association.
