Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Debra Hanson; children Melissa (David) McVety, Chelsy (Dan) Manchester; grandchildren Merci (Marty) Nault, Leigha McVety, Josiah McVety, Tobias McVety, Malakai Manchester, Liv Manchester; great-grandchildren Myla, Hayden, Brooks Nault; sisters Freda Ansley, Elsie Polak, Elizabeth Holloway.
He is predeceased by his son Joshua Hanson, granddaughter Miracle; sister Frances Mercer and brothers Carl Hanson, Bobby Hanson.
Jim the security guard loved everyone and they in return loved him back, especially his grandchildren. He was known as a kind, polite friend who went above and beyond in everything he did.
