

The family announces the sad passing of their most beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather in the early morning of January 25th at Kelowna General Hospital from complications following a massive stroke suffered in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on January 9th.
On November 12, 1955 he married his life-long love, Linda McLachlan and together they spent 58 busy and happy years. He is survived by his wife, Linda, daughter Kelly (Brent Fesik), son Chad and daughter Julie as well as his two grandsons, Joseph (Stephanie), Matthew (Chelsea) and his most adored great granddaughter, Amelie. He is also survived by his siblings Elizabeth Schalm (Oswald), sister Margaret, brothers Dan (Mary), Glenn (Joye) together with many nieces and nephews. His brother George and sister-in-law Barbara predeceased him as did his parents and parents-in-law.
Jules was born in Saskatoon and spent his working years there establishing a petroleum construction business which was the core of his working career. Jules was an extremely talented individual that, together with his entrepreneurial spirit and his desire to always do his very best in each endeavor, were the qualities that contributed to his many successful accomplishments in life.
Jules will be deeply missed and loved by his wife, family and friends who will all find comfort in Romans 14:8
“….for if we live, we live to Jehovah, and if we die, we die to Jehovah. So both if we live and if we die, we belong to Jehovah”.
A Memorial of his life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1880 Dallas Road, Kelowna on Saturday, February 1 at 3:00 pm.
