June 24, 1960 – August 14, 2023
Margie Jones Burnett courageously passed away, lovingly surrounded by her family after a year and a half battle with cancer, seven weeks after her 63rd birthday.
She was a loving wife, a dedicated mother and a loyal friend, sister, daughter and aunt.
Margie had the most profound impact on all lives she came across, leaving a trail of love. She drew everyone she met into her heart. She loved her family, children and grandchildren fiercely.
She is survived by her husband Larry Burnett of 15 years, mother Claire Jones, sister Catherine, brothers David (Leanne) and Robert. Children Jonathan (Debra), Janel (Dan) and Yoshi (Kim). Grandchildren Josiah, Keyahn, Ilia, Kayd and Alexis. Nieces Molly and Sonu, nephews Colin, Curtis and Cody, grand-niece Ava and grand-nephews Mason and Nathan.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday August 19th at 3:00pm at the Rutland Seventh-Day Adventist church. 130 Gerstmar Road, Rutland.
