Norman was born in Hamilton, Ontario on February 1st, 1960, to parents Frieda Wegner and Gustav Tschense from Germany.
He loved spending time with his wife enjoying nature, traveling to warm places and all that the beautiful Okanagan has to offer. He was so pleased to be able to visit some of his family in Germany and Linda’s family in France, twice over the last few years. Renewing some acquaintances and meeting many family members for the 1st time.
Norm loved gardening, going into the hills on his trail bike, attending the gym, going ice-skating and of course he also enjoyed the companionship of their cat Tobi. He liked to challenge his mind by practicing a new language and dancing in the front room with Linda.
Norm leaves behind his beautiful wife, Linda, his lovely sister Rita (Gauthier), his son Nicholas and step-daughter Crystal (Weststrate).
Norm’s sweet, gentle and kind nature was evident to all whom he came in contact with and he will be greatly missed.
