Pauline Agnes Newick (nee Thiede),79 yrs, born Nov 11 1946 to Elizabeth and Henry Thiede, lived her entire life in Kelowna. She passed tragically on July 27, 2025, and is survived by her daughter Ruth Margaret Sander and husband Terence, grandchildren Marie Agnes and John Robert Sander. Sisters Barbara Chenier, Francis Gilmar, and Rosemary Kallsniscki. She was predeceased by her brother, Albert Thiede, by 7 months.
She was athletic in her youth and had a love of figure skating in which she sometimes coached or judged. She worked in Stillwaters Private Hospital, which later became Village at Mill Creek, from 1979 to 2014. She was strong in her faith and very active with the C.W.L, baking and fundraising, as well as assisting at funerals.
