Robert Arthur Hooker

HOOKER, Robert Arthur, born December 25, 1943 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan passed away on December 12, 2016 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by his brother Charles, Robert is survived by his loving wife Francis, daughter Nicole (Paul) Isherwood and grandchildren Samantha and Nicholas.

Robert’s favourite pastimes involved activities that revolved around nature: fishing, hunting, camping, rock and ice climbing. His knowledge about nature and the back country left you with the sense of safety and confidence when on any of the back roads. Robert was a calming, solitary person with never ending ideas when it came to repairing things. At heart he was always the farm boy from Alberta. He was very generous and always willing to help others. He was a genuine, soft spoken man who was a rock for his family. Over his lifetime he held many jobs: Alberta Game Farm, construction, custodian, self- employed handyman and security guard. From all who love you may you rest in peace.
