Robert Elwyn Kenzie

KENZIE: Robert (Bob) Elwyn , has passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Tuesday January 10, 2023 at Cottonwoods Care Centre. Bob was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on May 31, 1929. He relocated to Nelson, BC and shortly thereafter to Penticton where he met his wife Arlene.

Bob worked for Safeway for a total of 25 years in various locations around British Columbia before settling down in Kelowna. The Kenzie family operated Crossroads Supply Ltd. for a number of years before retiring in 1979. Bob’s life was filled with family, friends and an abundance of laughter. He will be missed by many and always live on in our hearts. Bob leaves behind his wife M. Arlene Kenzie, married for 67 years. Their six children, Doug, Jim (Jane), Ken (Cindy), Leanne (Dave), Larry, and Ray. Along with grandchildren, Robyn, Dan, Jeff, Katelyn, Brian, Chantelle, Nicholas, and great-grandchild, Mathieu.

The family will be celebrating Bob’s life on May 16th, 2023 from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM from the family home at #5-1873 Parkview Cres, Kelowna, BC .
