Ronald Wayne Loken

Ron passed away peacefully at home surrounded by all of his family. He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 27years, Sharon. His 4 children: Matthew Loken (Lilli),Jason Loken (Tea), Corey Loken (Jodi), Kristie Kaye (Brian) and also the mother of his children Sherri Loken (Julian); 3 stepchildren: Joy Elliott (Doug), Garry Elliott (Meranda), Tanja Steer (Ken) and also 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Ron was one of 4 growing up in Kelowna: Karen Munro (Rick), Kathy McWhirter (Tim), Dennis Loken (Hana)

Ron was predeceased by his parents Eric and Velma Loken also of Kelowna.

Ron spent the bulk of his career as Meat Manager/cutter with Safeway, which took him to many places in BC. After retiring, he and Sharon travelled North America in their fifth wheel for about 5 years and then settled in Kelowna, which was home to both of them.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, July 30th , 2024 at the Lakeview Heights Baptist Church , 2630 Alhambra Drive, West Kelowna at 10:30 am.
