Bowers: Ruth Marion. January 29, 1927 – February 17, 2018. Ruth Bowers passed away after a short illness on February 17 at age 91. Ruth was born in Kelowna to Jim and Ruby Brydon. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Dorrance (Bow). Ruth will be deeply missed by many, especially by her children, Jim, Bob, Patty, and Barb, and their spouses Catherine, Julia, Nick, and Rod, and by her grandchildren, Jess, Tom, Kate, Olivia, Sam, Ryan, Sarah, Jack, and Graeme. We are so thankful to our Mom and Nana for her kindness, her humour, and her love. Our family thanks Dr. Rachel Carver for her care and support. No service will be held; close friends and family will celebrate Ruth’s long and happy life at her favourite place, “the Beach”, this summer. No flowers please.
