James Otis Hanson III

Jamie was born on November 29, 1963 in Dallas, TX to parents James Otis Hanson II and Lola Louise Higgins and entered into eternal rest on July 28, 2014 at the age of 50. Jamie grew up in Pleasant Gove all his life, until he moved to Styx in 1988. He loved Harley Davidson’s and spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and could always make you smile. Jamie loved being outdoors and having BBQ’s with his family and friends. He was a very loving and caring man who will be missed by all who knew him.

Jamie was preceded in death by his dad James Otis Hanson II, his brother Steven Hanson, grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. James Hanson and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Higgins.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Shelly Hanson, sons; Kyle and wife Gabby, Jeffery and Jordan, daughter Janet and husband Tyler, grandson Jaxon, granddaughter Alexis, mother Louise Hanson, sisters; Barbara Sutton and husband Kenny and Shirley Hanson and Jimmy, aunt Lynn and W.T. and Marlene Works, uncle Norman and wife Mary Hanson, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; Angie and Rusty Huddle, Lynn and Mikey Self, brother-in-law Hirschell Fletcher, best friend of 42 years Connie Wible Holder, other loving family members and many more friends.
