Mr. Jimmy DeBorde

He was preceded in death by his: father Kenneth DeBorde; mother Frances Martin; his other mother Jeraldine Cobb; brothers: Mike DeBorde; Johnnie DeBorde; Richard DeBorde and Joel Cohn; sisters: Kathy Anderson and Robin Junell.

Jimmy was a truck driver for 31 years. He was proud to have served as President of the Water Board when he lived in Balch Springs. Due to a disability he chose to retire in 2008. He married Patricia, his high school sweetheart, August 23, 2008. His interests included watching Three Stooges and World War II movies and Nascar Races. He collected antiques, trains, knives and classic car models. Most of all Jimmy loved his family and spoke of them often. His children and grandchildren were the delight of his heart. The grandkids made him laugh and he couldn't get enough of them.

He is survived by his: wife Patricia DeBorde; step father Skip Cobb of Kemp; sisters: Joyce McCellin of Grand Prairie; Melinda Hollingsworth of Ore City; Christi Williams of Grosbeck; step-sister Susan Wedgman of Rock Hill, SC; daughter Kelly Juneau and husband Cody of Gulfport, MS; son John DeBorde and wife Nancy of Scurry; step-daughters: Shelly Maher and husband Christopher of Kingsville; Lori Kibler and husband Jason of Arlington; step-son Rory Chambers and wife Cheryl of Larue; daughter-in-law Kelly Hottinger of Terrell; grandchildren: Cody Bartmess; Tatum DeBorde; Kaley West; Josiah Kibler; Annabelle Kibler; Naomi Kibler; Emily Kibler; Bryan Rainer; Rory Chambers III; Kash Houston; great-grandchildren: Amina Offord; Sterling Offord; numerous nieces; nephews; other loving family members and a host of friends.
