Larry Clifton Shaw

Larry Clifton Shaw Sr. was born January 26, 1950 in Kemp, Texas to parents Virgil Creed and Dorothy Cleozell (Hager) Shaw and entered into eternal rest on April 14, 2019 at the age of 69. Larry attended Kemp High School and graduated with the Class of '69. He was employed by TX DOT for 30 plus years, then retired and went to work at Kaufman County Precinct 4, from which he also retired. Larry was a point blank, straightforward man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren, the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns . He enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, fishing and drag racing. Sunday dinners with family were very special to him. Larry was an amazing man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Virgil, niece Lisa Shaw and brother Don Shaw.

He is survived by his son Larry Shaw Jr. and wife Kenya of Kemp; grandchildren Justice Shaw and Vanessa of Normangee, Texas; Larry Shaw III and Kayla of Kemp and Candice Shaw of Kemp; great-grandson Samuel Shaw; sister Andra Gates and husband Larry of Athens; brother Freddy Shaw and wife Shirley of Kaufman; other loving family members and many more friends.
