Robert was born March 14, 1937 in Dallas to parents Robert Lee and Leta Mae (Kilgore) Shotwell and entered into eternal rest on September 10, 2015. He was Baptist by faith and retired from Consolidated Freight. Robert was a member of the Teamsters Union and loved old cars and hot rods.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and three daughters: Cathy Shotwell, Marlene Bari, and Cindy Barnett.
He is survived by his wife Eddie Lou Shotwell of Mabank, grandchildren: Robert Stockstill and Alexandria Bari, brothers: Don Shotwell of Fort Worth, Michael Shotwell and Frankie of Longview, sisters: Marcell Allen of Fort Worth and Christine Richardson and Archie of Malakoff, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
