Audrey died in her 94th year after a brief stay at McAuley Residence in Kenmore, New York. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Divita and son William Joseph Divita. She is survived by her niece Candice Tortorice, her great niece Angela Brauer, and Angela’s son Dean.
Audrey was an active member of the Augustana Lutheran Church in Tonawanda. She championed many causes, but closest to her heart was her work supporting and helping refugees. As part of her refugee outreach, she and her late husband and other members of the church founded the Augustana Refugee Immigrant Driver Education (RIDE) Program, which has helped hundreds get a driver’s license.
A Celebration of Audrey’s Life will be held at Augustana Lutheran Church, 3143 Eggert Road, Tonawanda, at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Audrey’s memory to the Augustana Lutheran Church/RIDE Program.
