Barbara Cecelia Herrmann

Barbara C. Herrmann (Hart), age 91, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on January 22, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Clifford and Sarah Charlesworth on June 15, 1934, in Gowanda, NY. She graduated in 1952 from Cattaraugus High School. In 1956, she received a bachelor's degree from Buffalo State College in Education. She worked for the Ken-Ton School District.

She was married to Lyndel Hart for 38 years until he passed in 1993. She later married Robert Herrmann in 1996 until he passed in 2017. She was preceded in death by her son, John. She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Craig) Kohler of Livingston, MT, Marcia (Ali) Shaw of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, and Carolyn (Kurt) Frank of Melbourne, FL. She is grandmother to Courtney Meindl, Alix Shaw, Brian Shaw, Holly Shaw, Ariana (Matthew Parks) Levi, Hannah Levi, and Hunter Levi and preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashlyn Barbara Levi. She is great grandmother to Sophia and Oliver Meindl. She is survived by her sister Dianne (Gary) Stanton of Erie, PA and Jeanna (Jim) Beauchamp of Jamul, CA.

She was stepmother to William (Pam) Herrmann of Connersville, IN, Lee Ann (Lancz) Griswold of Howell, NJ, Cheryl (Wally) Spence of Tonawanda, NY and Kristin Cruz of Evans, GA. She was grandmother to step grandchildren, Lauren Spence, Sara (James) Moscato, Kira Griswold, Ethan Griswold, Lyndsey Griswold, Matthew Cruz and Renee Cruz.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 3 - 7 pm at Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home, 3070 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, NY. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6th at 10 a.m. at Pendleton United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd, North Tonawanda, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined memorials may be made to KenTon Meals on Wheels.
