   So sorry to hear of the passing of your wife/mother/grandmother. She had recently joined the UB Women's Club and I was looking forward to working with her. Sending prayers for you and your family.

I knew Gayle from playing bridge with her at College Club and at her house in Canada.  Words I would use to describe Gayle: fun and funny, gracious, generous, full of energy, just a wonderful person.  Gayle and her family are in my prayers.

To Everyone, I'm so sorry for your loss.  When I think of Mrs. Cryan one word for me and many others, she helped over the years comes to mind...HOPE.  She gave people hope that their life could get better, and I can personally attest to that.  She will be missed not by just her family, but all the people she helped over the years through her work. 
 
I can personally attest to that, and I'm forever grateful for her kindness when I truly needed it.

Gayle was quite a gal when it comes to dedication in her profession as well as her love of life.

I met Gayle only early in the winter on several Mondays at the Bridge Center of Buffalo.  I knew right away what a lovely and beautiful woman she was. I even asked her if she had ever been a model.  My heart goes out to you all, Marcie Frankel

I worked with Gayle at ECMC and I golfed with her for many years. She was always so much fun to be around. I will miss her dearly.

My heartfelt sympathy to Gayle's family. We worked together at BryLin for several years. She was incredibly kind and compassionate to our patients. As a counselor, I learned so much from her. We had many laughs--particularly when she was explaining something to me for the umpteenth time. Her clinical skills plus her Irish humor provided great healing and support to patients. For example, she  sometimes wore costumes to work on Halloween. She certainly was NOT a witch, but she had one quite elaborate witch costume! And she would stop--during the Turkey Trot--to greet the patients by doing jumping jacks in front of BryLin!  Everyone loved her. Godspeed, Gayle.

Gayle was one of a kind. I have vivid memories of being with her. We were classmates and good friends in nursing school and early adulthood. I was the serious one. She was fun, open to everything and had a wonderful sense of humor. People especially men were attracted to her and loved to spend time with her. We enjoyed many wonderful times together. Gayle embodied the beautiful Irish joy of life. She and Bernie were made for one another. My deep condolences to her family who will miss her dearly.
