A.Wayne Logan, 83, of Marietta, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Funeral is Wednesday, December 23, 2pm at Marietta Church of God (Grace Life) with Pastor Randy Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park. Mr. Logan will lie in state on Wednesday at the church beginning at 1pm. Wayne was preceded in death by his son – Kent Logan, parents – Arl and Myrtle Logan, brother – Garland Logan, and his sister – Joy Ferdinandtsten.
Mr. Logan was a longtime member of the Marietta Church of God where he served as the clerk for many years. His career as an Auditor with Goodyear Rubber Company spanned more than 35 years.
Survivors include his loving wife – Helen Logan of Marietta, sons – Mike Logan of Akron, OH and Jerry Logan of Marietta. There are also 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren that survive.
The family is receiving friends Tuesday from 6-8pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. In lieu of flowers, donations have been requested to be made to the building fund at the Marietta Church of God (GraceLife), 1083 Allgood Rd Marietta, GA 30062.
