A man of courage, a man of faith, a man of love. A family man. Anthony ( Tony) Edward Ashworth. Tony was born on August 11, 1958 in Atlanta, Ga. He was called home on August 26th, 2021. Just days after he celebrated his 63rd birthday. Tony and his wife, Teresa have been happily married for 37 years and currently reside in Cartersville, Ga. Tony is survived by his parents Flo & Edward Ashworth, his sister Linda Ashworth, his wife Teresa Ashworth, son Austin Ashworth, daughter in law Carrie Ashworth, daughter Kasey Brown, son in law Brandon Brown. Along with his grandchildren Honor and Legend Brown. His legacy will be celebrated during a visitation on August 30th from 5:00-9:00 pm, the funeral will be held on August 31st at 2:00 pm. Both will take place at Winkerhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home ( 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Ga 30152). A celebration of life will occur at 17 Greywood Lane Cartersville, Ga following the burial for friends and family.
The family is requesting the guest of the funeral to wear the colors of red and black in honor of Tony’s beloved Georgia Bulldogs.
