Audene W. Walker

Audene Waddell Walker, age 91 went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 17, 2025. She was born in DeKalb county, Alabama in 1933. Audene was a long time resident of Kennesaw, Ga where for many years she was very involved in her church, the YMCA, MUST Ministry, Meals on Wheels and other various mission ministries. For many years she never missed servicing her community by volunteering at the polls on voting days. Audene had also been known for picking up a stray cat or two.

Audene is preceded in death by her husband, James F Walker, Jr.; her son, Ronald J Walker; her parents, Zula and William Waddell and her sister and brother-in-law Marcellene (Marcie) and Gus Norwood.

Audene is survived by her brother Darrel W Waddell (Sue) of Woodstock, GA; her son James (Jimmy) F Walker, III (Ginger) of Marietta, GA; her daughter Donna Carol Davis (Jerry) of Houston TX; her grandchildren Lyndi Audene Yalen (Michael) of Ballground GA, James (Jamie) F Walker IV of Marietta GA, Heather Lorianne Viney (Brian) of Cedar Park, TX; Niki Marie HyeYeong Davis of Houston TX and Joshua Alberto Davis-Walker of Houston, TX.

She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, Christopher Michael Glaeser-Yalen (Kirsten); Karrah Shalyn Amos (Jonah); Drew Alexandria Yalen; Megan Leanore Viney; Lily HyeYeong Peña; Scarlett Marie Davis-Walker and Alexi Daniel Membreño, 2 great great grandchildren Elisabeth Aurora Glaeser-Yalen and Hendrix Alexander-Wolfe Amos as well as her niece and nephews Rex Norwood, Thomas D. Norwood (Donna), Cylinda (Cindy) Melo (Luis) and Ricky Waddell.

The funeral service for Audene will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11:30 Am. Visitation will be held the evening before, on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 10:30 until the service time. Burial will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta, GA.
