Barbara Jean Garrett

Barbara Jean (Futral) Garrett, age 82, of Acworth, Georgia went home to be with the Lord,Tuesday January 2, 2018. Barbara was born December 23, 1935 to Evelyn and Rossie Futral. She was a life long resident of Acworth and worked for McLaurin's Corporation in Marietta and went on to retire from Best Western in Acworth, Georgia. Barbara was a member of Calvary Baptist Church

Barbara is survived by; daughters; Joslyn Ward (Mike), Diane Crocker (Robert), Janet Waits (Junior), sons; Greg Garret, Karl Garrett (Shawntelle); sister Ora Lee Garr, brothers; William Allen Futral, Leroy Futral, grandchildren; Wendy Beaulieu, Jennifer Ledbetter, Karla Garrett, Amanda Bozeman, Jessica Trout, Keith Garrett, Melissa Garrett, great grandchildren; Michaela Beaulieu, Amber Beaulieu, Bobby Beaulieu, Faith Beaulieu, Alex Ledbetter, Adelyn Ledbetter, Desiree' Garrett, Letia Howard, Brittney Boquet, Daniel Trout, Hailey Trout, Nathan Trout, Sarah Garrett, Maddison Strunk, Jayden Strunk great great grandchild; Jordan Zayas and one on the way.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Hoyt Garrett; parents; Rossie and Evelyn Futral; brothers; Tommy Futral, Elvin Futral, Melvin Futral and sister Jewel Gordy, granddaughters; Tracey Ward, and Kally Garrett.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.Funeral service will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Kennesaw, Georgia. Burial will follow, at Rolling Hills Memorial Park, 4355 GA-92, Acworth , Georgia 30102.
