Barbara is survived by her husband of 63 years, Glendle Phillips; son Robert Phillips; daughter Julie Sams; and daughter Joy Phillips; brother Richard Riggins and brother Allen Riggins; grandchildren Aldyn and Bronson.
Barbara was retired from the Cherokee School System where she worked for several years in the cafeteria. In her spare time she loved to read, frequent various Thrift Stores, and traveling with her husband.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will follow the visitation at 5:00 pm. Family burial will occur at Georgia National Cemetery.
