Barry Solomon Busbee

Barry Solomon Busbee, 41, of Woodstock, died Friday, February 13, 2015. Funeral is Thursday, February 19, 2pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Kevin Cable officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.

Barry graduated from Clarkston High School and continued on to earn a B.A. Degree from Georgia State University in 1996 where he was a brother of the Epsilon Nu Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha. He was an employee of Metlife for 13 years as an Underwriter. Barry was an avid sports fan and loved to watch his favorite teams the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons. He had several hobbies including collecting sports memorabilia especially baseball cards. Barry loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and relaxing with family and friends. He will be remembered as loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

Barry is survived by his wife – Michelle Yates Busbee of Woodstock, daughters – Morgan Busbee and Megan Busbee, mother and step-father – Sandra and Don Scarborough of Smyrna, brothers – Brian Busbee of Smyrna and Bruce and wife Rebecca Busbee of Macon, and his maternal grandmother – Myrtice Wright Glore of Bolingbroke, GA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Busbee of Macon.
