At sunrise on the beautiful morning of June 4, 2013, Billie McGrath passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior. Born February 26, 1931 in Mt. Vernon, GA, she spent most of her life in Marietta, GA where she was employed at Kennestone Hospital for 14 years. Her kind, gentle and loving soul was the rock and foundation of her beloved family, which meant everything to her.
Her faith filled spirit lives on in her husband, Donald McGrath, Sr.; daughter, Lisa McGrath; son Donald McGrath, Jr. and wife Kim; son, Jesse (Jimmy)McGrath and wife Tracy and sister, Linda Mize and husband Jan along with many adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday June 9 at 3 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. John Schubert officiating. The family will receive friends between the hours of 1 and 3 PM with the service following at 3PM.
