Mrs. McFarland is survived by sons Jesse James and wife Penny Dupree, Danny and wife Anya Dupree; sister Nancy Lyles; brothers Alan (Peggy) Entrekin and Jimmy (Becky) Entrekin; as well as grandchildren - Nigel, Miranda, Bowie, Thea, Cruz, and Echo.
BJ, affectionately known as Mamaw by her grandchildren whom she adored, was a giver of her time. She demonstrated this gift of love by volunteering at Church and her grandchildren's schools. She was selfless and helped raise her family from the grandchildren up lovingly earning the title “the Miracle Woman”. Mrs. McFarland retired from Lockheed as an Project Clerk after many years but her working days did not end. She was Administrative Assistant for Jackyl’s management company endearing herself to many in the entertainment industry. She was also a substitute Teacher, and Cafeteria Attendant for the Cobb County Board of Education, roles that she truly enjoyed. Her other talents included sewing, cooking, and doting on her grandchildren.
A visitation for BJ will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A private graveside will occur.
