Chancey W. Caldwell, 96, of Kennesaw, died peacefully at his residence on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Funeral service is Sunday, April 12, 4pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with entombment to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
Born in Crown City, OH Mr. Caldwell served our country during WWII in the Army and obtained the rank of 1st Lt. A member of the “Greatest Generation”, Chancey new the meaning of hard work, which served him well as a Realtor. He and his wife Alva, who preceded him in death just a few months ago, were longtime members of Kennesaw United Methodist Church.
Survivors are his children: son – Chancey (Linda) Caldwell of Carrollton, TX; daughters – Rebecca (Steve) Bieranowski of Sierra Vista, AZ and Susan (Drew) Arnold of Acworth; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Kennesaw United Methodist Church.
