First and foremost, Charles loved the Lord. He was a member of Pickett's Mill Baptist Church where he loved serving and ministering for the Lord as Head Usher and Greeter. Charles was a 1962 graduate of Everett High School and served our country honorably in the Air National Guard. He had retired from General Motors and was Sergeant of Arms with UAW Local 10. Charles was a huge Tennessee Vols fan as well as a fan of the King himself, Elvis Presley. He was very outgoing, he never met a stranger, and Charles always found a way to pull a prank on family and friends to get a laugh. To know Charles was to love him. He was a sharp dresser, loved being out in nature especially the beach at Hilton Head and taking care of his lawn. These memories will be cherished by all who had the honor of knowing him.
