Darryl Glenn Reynolds

Darryl Glenn Reynolds, age 58, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. Darryl was born March 24, 1964 in Atlanta, GA. Darryl is survived by his mother Joyce Hickman, his fiancé Tonya Owens Sarratt, his brothers Carl Reynolds, Jr. and wife Wendy, Gary Hickman and his wife Barbara, his sisters Mary Beth Brault and her husband Tim, Kristi Reynolds Ozmore, and Karen Hickman along with many nieces and nephews that adored him. Darryl was preceded in death by his father William Carl Reynolds, Sr. and his Dad Richard “Dick” Wade Hickman.

For the past 38 years Darryl worked with his brother Carl in the family business, C & D Vending Company. If you know Darryl, you know he was full of life and loved adventure. He was quick witted, causing laughter all around him and was often the life of the party. He had an innate ability to always select the perfect gift for any individual or occasion through his incredibly thoughtful heart. Darryl was an adrenaline seeker, he loved to skydive, ride motorcycles and dirt bikes. He was a daredevil on motor cross and jet skis. He allowed himself to relax while on his boat and enjoying his lake friends. It was his place, where all the troubles of the world would melt away, and there would be only peace. Darryl loved to be around children. He taught several kids how to ride dirt bikes, he attended ball games and loved just to work with them on projects around the house. Darryl met Tonya at a friend’s party 10 months ago and after dating several months were engaged to be married. Tonya and Darryl enjoyed their time out on the boat and attended church regularly. He loved Jesus and knew the Lord was working in his life. He was an amazing son, fiancé, brother and friend. He will be missed by all that his life touched. Because Darryl registered for the National Donor Registry, he will live on through his donor recipients. Although we mourn our loss, other families are celebrating this perfect gift only he could give.

A visitation for Darryl will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. The service will follow the visitation.
