Deborah Jean Elkins, age 73, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Deborah was married to her husband Larry for 40 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Deborah enjoyed going to the beach, watching her grandchildren play sports, and most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Deborah is survived by her sons, Jim Elkins (April) and Gabe Elkins (Kelly); mother Betty Kormos Merandi; sisters, Kathy McMillan (Tim), Fran Deming and Beth Murphy; brother Frank Merandi; granddaughter Payton Elkins; grandsons, Greyson Elkins, Aiden Elkins, and Parker Elkins.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband James Larry Elkins; her father Frank Merandi.
A celebration of life gathering for Deborah will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home a celebration of life memorial will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Pine Ridge Memorial Park Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
