Derrick was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hiking and any other outdoor events. He loved to travel and was fortunate to have traveled many places. He was always up for any new adventure.
We loved him dearly; his family and friends will miss him immensely. He had an enormous amount of compassion for people and would give his last dime to help them. He has touched us all with his kindness, sensitivity, honor and wit. We hope and pray that he is in a better place and at peace.
