Donald L. Curtis, 71, of Acworth, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Funeral service is Saturday, January 25, 11am at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Entombment with military honors will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw. Mr. Curtis was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved to spend time with his family and during those times, a spread of food was usually involved. A beloved employee for over thirty years at North Chemical/Kemira in Marietta, Mr. Curtis held the position of Maintenance Supervisor. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and repairing things around the house, he was quite the handyman. All who knew and loved him will miss Donald.
Mr. Curtis is survived by his son – Chris Curtis of Acworth, daughter – Angela Dubovsky of San Francisco, CA. His three grandchildren, Ethan, Ryan, and Stephen also survive.
The Curtis family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 24 at the funeral home between the hours of 6pm until 8pm.
