I  so saddened. Eddie was one of my best friends in the 80s and I wish I had known he passed. Heartbreaking.

So sorry to hear of Eddie's passing.  I met him shortly after he moved to Altanta (early '90s) through a good friend of mine, Jim Holbrook.  Eddie always struck me as being a kind, gentle, fun-loving soul, always with a smile on his face.  He will be sorely missed by many.  Rest in peace, my friend.

I feel certain that the joy meter is running low for all that knew, were close to and loved Eddie.  We were colleagues at Law/MACTEC for many years and what stood out about Eddie was his ease, sense of self, humor and compassion. Grabbing lunch with Eddie and reminiscing about his childhood and his passions was always a pleasure.  I especially enjoyed seeing all the pictures posted from his past, his gardens and pets and especially smiled seeing the picture of his Saab which he was really fond of.  He will be missed....

I just heard about Eddie and am saddened about his passing. Wishing comfort and peace to his loved ones for this loss. He was a truly kind person.

Eddie, thanks for being a friend. It's not quite real yet, you not being here. I'll miss our crazy shopping sprees, our late-night debates and planning weekend photography excursions we'd never do. LOL.

To Stephen, Eddie's loving partner, my heart is breaking for you. I know you feel lost right now. Like the one thing you could always count on  your rock, has suddenly vanished. Eddie's no doubt watching over you still. A day at a time

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. Hallelujah-you have seen the face of God!!!! I love you Eddie-we were not only co-workers; I called you friend.  So long for now.

Eddie, you were my very first friend in Atlanta.  We spent Saturday afternoons in Piedmont and Trivia Tuesdays @Joe's.  You loved Atlanta and you adored your dogs.  Butterbean and lil' man have you now and that offers some peace.  I will miss you my friend.

Eddie was a wonderful person inside and out.  He always made time to speak to everyone and make them laugh no matter how busy he was at work.  He was a special friend and I will miss him.  Rest in peace Eddie - love you.

Eddie was a computer traffic cop, he took the confusion out of the chaos that played havoc with folks computers. He always showed great tolerance for the computer illiterate (with a slight gleam in his eye). i will miss your presence here on earth but know you have solved the great mystery and are in gods hands. my thoughts and prayers for Zimmerman family.

Eddie always loved to tense people and he would always tell you how if you were lucky he might look at your computer. He always had a way of making me smile.  He was such a sweet man and I will miss him very much.  I feel honored to have know him and to have been a small part of his life.  God must have had a computer problem and knew just who to call.  To the Eddie's family thank you for letting us share in his life.  We will be very missed.

The world has lost a kind and gentle soul...and Heaven has gained an angel. Eddie's presence will surly be missed. But, fond memories of him will be forever carried in our hearts. I pray for comfort for his family...now and always.

Always liked talking to Eddie.  He was always so very helpful.  Prayers.
