Elda is survived by; son Rodney Fricke (Naomi); son Cary Fricke (Holly); son Mark Fricke; son Larry Fricke; and daughter Velena Halbrooks (Remer); brother Frank Richardson, brother Bob Richardson, brother Henry Richardson and sister Margaret Reagan; grandchildren Alexander, Aaron, Cary Jr., Jeremy, Stephanie, Logan, Haley, Heath, and Jesse as well as 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Elda was preceded in death by her husband Robert Vasseur and daughter Lora Fricke.
Elda had worked and retired from Lockheed-Martin after many years as a Radiologist. Working outside the home did not interfere with her ability to provide a loving home for her family. Her hobbies included bird watching, gardening, traveling, and raising flowers. Elda enjoyed life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Elda will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152, followed by a celebration of life and memorial service at 2:00 pm.
