

Marie was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Ethel Albright. She attended business school, earning her associate’s degree after two years of study. Marie devoted 25 years of service as a secretary at Lockheed, where she built a career marked by dedication and professionalism, before retiring.
She was married to her best friend and the love of her life, Roy Lee McClure, for 70 wonderful years until his passing. Together, they made their home in Acworth and later Marietta, Georgia, and were blessed with a son and a daughter whom they loved dearly.
Marie had a deep and personal relationship with God and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Acworth for more than 70 years. She taught Sunday School and led the youth group for a time, sharing her faith and kindness with generations of young people.
She found great joy in camping at Longhollow Campground on Lake Lanier, where she spent many happy days gathered around the campfire with friends. Marie was known as a loving and faithful friend, a devoted caregiver, and a woman who cherished her family above all else.
She is survived by her son, Donald McClure (Myrna); daughter, Cheryl McClure; grandson, Brandon McClure (Carrie); and great-granddaughter, Cheyanna McClure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Lee McClure.
Visitation will be held on January 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, Georgia. A funeral service will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Marie will be laid to rest next to her husband Roy in a private family committal service following the funeral ceremony.
Marie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
