She was born to Edward and Lottie Kelley on November 13, 1920 in Greensburg, Indiana.
Mrs. Moore was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a very loving person and enjoyed caring for her family - she would hem the boys clothes, iron as many clothes as she could for you even socks, and sew miniature clothing for the girls' dolls. Her children admit that you couldn't have asked for a better mom.
When she was younger, Mrs. Moore and her husband, Charles, took ballroom dance classes together. She enjoyed keeping herself busy and could have read through a whole library.
Mrs. Moore was a strong, Christian woman. She was a member of Shenandoah Baptist Church while she lived in Orlando, Florida and was a member of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church for over 10 years after moving to Georgia. In her eighties, she was still able to drive and would often pick up some of the ladies on her way to church.
