

Francis Hollis Figaro was born on October 13, 1940 in Los Charos, Erin in Trinidad and Tobago. He went home peacefully to the Lord on August 21, 2020 at his home in Acworth, Georgia. He was the first born to Alejandrina Figaro Charles and Gilbert McClean. While residing in Siparia, Trinidad, he worked as a senior draftsman for the oil company. In 1997, Francis and Shirley migrated to the United States to be closer to their children.
He leaves to mourn, his wife Shirley, who has been his best friend and the love of his life for the past 55 wonderful years. He was a loving and devoted husband and together they had 2 daughters, Melan Pixie Blaize and Elizabeth Michelle Mensey. He will be forever remembered by his son-in-law Ron Blaize and his grandchildren Natalie and James who adored him greatly.
Francis was loved and admired by many relatives including his siblings Marilyn, Alister and Sharon, Agatha and Lonston Samuel, Gregory and Millie Charles, Keith Charles and Nancy. He will be fondly remembered by his brother’s in-law Kenny and Joan Alfonso, John and Kay Alfonso and their families. He was cousin to the Figaros, Stewarts, Regis, Ryans, Brizans, Josephs, Athanas and Fredericks. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Francis influenced the lives of many people while involved in Marriage Encounter, pre-marriage counselling, The Jaycees Organization, and serving as a lay minister in his parish in Trinidad. He lived a peaceful life filled with love and joy while creating wonderful memories for his family to cherish.
