Fred Charles Barfield

Born in Thomaston, Georgia, on October 16, 1950, Charles was the son of the late Fred and Annie Grace Barfield. He attended Wheeler High School in Marietta and later joined his father in the family business, Marietta Auto Trim Shop, Inc., where he served as co-owner and operator for over 45 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Keith Barfield.

Charles dedicated much of his life to running the family business, but he also found joy in working on custom cars and motorcycles, attending car shows, and watching NASCAR.

He leaves behind his sons, Jason Charles Barfield and his wife, Rebecca, of Dallas, and Michael Paul Barfield of Marietta; his granddaughters, Trinity Noel Brock of Hiram, Sophia Raye Barfield of Dallas, Marisa Rayn Barfield of Dallas, Brianna Grace Barfield of Hiram, and Karis Hope Barfield of Hiram; his sister, Martha Jo Jackson of Ranger: and his beloved dog “Charlie”. His legacy lives on through those who loved him most.

Visitation will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30152, on April 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on April 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral and committal services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
