He was a proud member of the U.S. Army And served a tour of duty in Vietnam.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Nettie Minter as well as his parents-in-law, Edgar and Gladys Wilbanks.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Wilma Wilbanks Minter; loving daughter/son-in-law, Tracey and Dean Prange; sister/brother-in-law, Joan and Sherman McLemore; brother/sister-in-law, David and Ruth Minter; brother-in-law, William E. Wilbanks Jr. He was a member of Grace Communion Church.
Memorial service and interment are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., March 24, 2022 at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia.
