Gerard is survived by his daughter, Aspen Kate Skubina; parents, John and Kim Skubina; his brother, John Skubina, Jr. (Jillian); sisters, Alyssa Sanders (Patrick), Jessica Mader and Laura Skubina; niece, Addison and nephews, Anthony, Caleb, and Elijah.
Gerard was a graduate of Harrison High School and worked in sales with the Lawn Care Industry. Gerard was considered a Poet and this talent led him to music which allowed his creativity to shine through as a songwriter. When time allowed, Gerard also enjoyed playing video games with his nephew, Anthony, but what he cherished the most was spending time with his daughter. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
The Skubina family will receive friends on February 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home located at 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Services will be held at 12:00 PM on February 15, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church located at 680 W. Memorial Drive Dallas, Georgia 30132. Committal and burial will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park at 3:00 PM.
