A Georgia resident all her life, Mrs. Mathis was a Cobb County School bus driver for 16 years and a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Emerson. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Survivors include her husband – Howard Mathis, Jr., sons – Van Mathis and Chad Mathis, daughter – Pam Priest, and brother – Nicky Martin. There are also 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren that survive.
