Greg Young, 64, of Acworth, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Mr. Young’s working career was spent in the quality control field. Greg was a true family man who loved spending his spare time with his grandchildren and sharing with them his love of guitars and most recently mini helicopters. Having been disabled for some time, Mr. Young was quite attached to his support dog Garth. They shared a bond that cannot be described.
Those who survive Greg are his wife – Diana S. Young; daughters – Tabitha and her husband Jeff Baker, and Tiffany Robison; sisters – Barb Bredeweg and Charlene Frens. Also surviving are the jewels in his crown, which are his grandchildren – Kaydence, Kendall, Jonathan, and Reid.
Mr. Young was very patriotic and supported our troops, so his family has requested donations to be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org or to the USO at uso.org.
