Met Aunt Isabel twice when she visited Scotland. She was so lively and such fun. Our grandchildren had a great time with her. God bless her.

Dear Pat
Aunt Isabel was how people should be; true, wise, kind, hard working and unselfish. She and Uncle Davie set a gold standard on how to live life fully and well, always welcoming and straight forward, with lots of fun and humour. Mum, Dad and I had some great times with them both in California and here in Scotland. I was so  pleased that Isabel kept in contact after Uncle Davie died, and she continued her fine tradition of great hospitality. 
Isabel showed great strength of character during her last years of increasing ill health. Even though she became physically frail, I always enjoyed our telephone calls, when she spoke with her usual wisdom and wit. I shall miss her greatly. 
She was the last member of that fine generation of our family, but will now be laid to rest with Uncle Davie. 
Thank you, God, for Aunt Isabel.

Dear Pat and Family, I just learned of Mom's passing while here in Florida at my Dad's. I'm so sorry for your loss but excited that she is with our Lord. She was a dear and special friend. I gleaned much wisdom from her and loved her zest for life. I admired her spunk and no nonsense personality. She was one of the finest women I've ever known. She was a role model to me, a  truly precious soul. I loved her very much. I pray God's grace and comfort for you all. Pat, you and your family were a blessing to her and I have learned from you what it is to be a good daughter while caring for an aging parent. My God bless you abundantly.

My dear sister Isa we were so close when growing up and I missed you when you emigrated to America to start your new life with your husband Dave.  I always looked forward to you coming home again and I enjoyed your regular phone calls even towards the end of your life.  I know you lived a full and active life and are at peace now with the Lord, for which I am truly thankful for.  Sister Cathie and Brother-in-law John.

Pat your mother was a lovely intelligent woman who always had a positive attitude throughout her whole life and as a result most likely achieved more than some people can only dream of.  I remember she used to send me National Geographic journals every month when I was a child.  My late mother had and father always spoke very highly of her and although it is sad to think she is no longer in this world, I know that she is with our lord looking down on us.  Niece Gillian Christie and Ryan.

How lovely she is in His presence.  What a joy she was to us here.  We sorrow for your loss of her, but celebrate the amazing life she lived and the love she shared.  A wonderful lady.

Isabella was a lovely lady, and we grieve her passing. How precious to know she rests in the savior's arms.

I'm so sorry for your loss but rejoice that she is now with our Lord and Savior!!!  She was a precious lady.  I still remember her at Charlene's lakehouse when we were to give a one-word description of ourselves and she said "Tornado" to our shock and awe!  Love that dear lady and her Scottish brogue.

Pat so sorry for your loss...I always enjoyed your Mom especially at her 80th Birthday Party.  Remember the good times shared at Book Club.
