Cause of Death: Blood Clot to his right lung and Heart Disease.

LaMarsh of Marietta, first wife and mother of his two children: Daughter, Vicki Matthews, husband, Michael Matthews of Marietta, Son Steven Franklin LaMarsh, wife Karen LaMarsh of Kennesaw. Grandchildren: Josh Matthews, wife Kristen, Matthew LaMarsh, wife Melissa, Jason Matthews, wife Melissa, Melissa LaMarsh, Jordan Matthews, Mark LaMarsh, wife Jessica, Megan LaMarsh, Jacob Matthews, Jeremy Matthews, Jennifer Matthews. Great grandchildren: Ayden Matthews, Savannah LaMarsh and Sienna LaMarsh.

Other Surviving loved ones: Wife’s children: Fonda Brown,Rick Paulsen, Jr, Grandchildren: Jacob, Sarah, Emma, and Hannah Brown and Rayne Paulsen.

Jim was born in Alton Illinois, attended Alton High School 1950-1956 and attended SIU College in Carbondale, Illionois.

President/CEO Hanes Supply Company in Atlanta of 20 years. Retired in 2003 from Cobb County School Systems.

Special Interest: He loved music, he attended SIU with a music scholarship, President of Band Booster Club of Chamblee High School for his two children Vicki and Steven. Mascot for the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Acworth.

Visitation will be from 9-10am on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:00am at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home at 2950 N Cobb Pkwy Kennesaw, GA 30152
