Jaye Paul Richardson, wonderful husband, father, son and brother was born on Sunday March 11, 1984 and passed on from this life to the next on Monday, August 7, 2023 after a 2+ year battle with brain cancer. Jaye was a 2007 graduate of Auburn University and completed his Master’s degree from Troy University in 2015. He worked in technical support and cybersecurity as an analyst for most of his career, and also served our country in the Air Force National Guard and Army National Guard for over 10 years. Jaye married the love of his life, Stacy Lynn in 2011, and they welcomed their daughter Olivia into the world in 2014. Jaye loved all things sports and spent his spare time playing and cheering on his favorite teams (War Eagle and Go Braves!). His greatest passion was found in the world of rugby and mentoring youth. He played rugby at the collegiate, club, and travel elite team levels for several different teams over the course of 20 years; he coached at UAB, Auburn, and Life University in an assistant coaching role. He was a leader, a servant, and a man of God. He was known far and wide by his nickname “Slim”, and will be remembered for his kind smile, his welcoming spirit, and his love for others.
Jaye is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Richardson. He is survived by his wife, Stacy Lynn Richardson; his daughter Olivia Jayde Richardson; his mother Jessie Richardson; his father-in-law Mark Anderson and his mother-in-law Susan Dyer (John); his sisters Marki Louis (Ajit), Shrone Richardson Powers, Samantha Thompson (Jay), and Venette Richardson; brother Samuel Kenneth Richardson, III. Several nieces and nephews also survive and will greatly miss their dear uncle Jaye, along with a large network of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were like family to him.
A visitation for Jaye will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home Chapel.

Until we meet again.
